1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using LexLab ("we," "us," "our," or the "Platform"), you ("User," "you," or "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LexLab. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- Not be prohibited from using our services under applicable laws
- Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
3. Products and Licensing
Upon purchasing a product from LexLab, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product according to the license type selected:
- Regular License: Permits use in a single end product for personal use or for clients where end users are not directly charged for access to the product's functionality.
- Extended License: Permits use in a single end product where end users may be charged for access, including SaaS applications, subscription services, or commercial platforms.
All licenses are for single-use only. Each deployment or implementation requires a separate license purchase.
4. Prohibited Uses
LexLab products and services are intended solely for legitimate, lawful business purposes. You expressly agree NOT to use our products or services for any illegal, fraudulent, or malicious activities, including but not limited to:
- Phishing schemes, identity theft, or impersonation of legitimate businesses
- Financial fraud, investment scams, Ponzi schemes, or money laundering
- Creating fake or deceptive platforms to deceive users
- Operating unlicensed financial services where licensing is required
- Drug trafficking, human trafficking, or terrorism financing
- Distributing malware, conducting cyberattacks, or harvesting personal data without consent
- Spamming or any activity intended to harm, deceive, or defraud others
- Any activity that violates local, national, or international laws
We do not promote, endorse, or approve of any fraudulent or illegal activities. Users who violate these terms will have their accounts terminated immediately.
5. User Responsibilities
As a user of LexLab, you are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring your use of our products complies with all applicable laws and regulations
- Obtaining any necessary licenses, permits, or registrations required to operate your business
- Implementing appropriate security measures to protect your deployed applications
- The content you create, host, or distribute using our products
- Any actions taken by third parties through your deployed applications
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
6. Intellectual Property
All products, code, designs, and materials provided by LexLab remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors. Your license grants you the right to use the products as specified, but does not transfer ownership. You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, lease, or sublicense our products
- Share purchased products with third parties
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Claim ownership of our products or derivative works
- Use our branding, logos, or trademarks without written permission
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our products and services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that products will be error-free or uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of Liability
LexLab, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products, including but not limited to losses resulting from unauthorized access, violation of these terms, third-party claims, business interruption, or loss of data. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LexLab, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of our products, violation of these terms, violation of applicable laws, or any fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities conducted using our products.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you violate any provision of these Terms of Service, we suspect fraudulent or illegal activity, we receive valid legal requests from law enforcement, or your actions could harm LexLab's reputation or other users. Upon termination, your right to use our products ceases immediately. We are not obligated to provide refunds for terminated accounts.
11. Cooperation with Authorities
LexLab will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and regulatory authorities investigating illegal activities. We may disclose user information when required by law or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect the safety of others, or investigate fraud.
12. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are generally final once product access has been granted. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for legitimate technical issues that we cannot resolve. No refunds will be provided if you simply change your mind or find the product unsuitable for your intended purpose. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase.
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
15. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
